On the 6th
June 2011, I left for the Mumbai to visit there after missing the great wedding
of my mama (maternal uncle) in the Butwal city. After living my room on Butwal,
I went Traffic Chowk to meet my friends who are Chabilal, Ganga,
etc. I have a lot excitement and enthusiasm to go to the India as it was my first
opportunity to visit abroad. Then I went to Bus Park
and met them and we all gathered.
Then we took the bus which
went via Bhairahawa and Sonauli. After one hour we went to Sonauli boarder. I
was chatting with my friends in face book when I was riding through Bhairahawa
in the bus. Then I exchanged my Nepali rupees to Indian rupees in the exchange
center in Sonauli boarder.
After crossing the boarder,
we walk to the junction where the bus left for the Varanasi. I got on the bus which number plate
is UP65 AR 1849. After this I reached through Gorakhpur
to Varanasi.
During my traveling in the bus, I was not only enjoyed the comfortable seats
but also the scene of beautiful features of lands and rivers through the
window. When I arrived at the Varanasi
railway station, the sun is about to rise and it was 6.00 am. It was my first
to experience the time difference. There is the time difference of 15 minutes
between Nepal and India.
I would already spend the one night in the bus in India. Then we went to the railway
station at Varanasi,
it was 7.00 am. After waiting the half and four hours, we finally got the seats
of Mahanagari Express. I saw the places like Allahabad,
Manikpur, Jabalpur,
etc. I ate some Indian local foods after reaching every station. In the middle
of the journey, I found some women who are generally third and involve in the
sexual works consisting the begging to the railway passengers, a little scared
because it was my first sight to see that types of vulgarity and the
unknowingness. One of the main reasons of my fear can be the aloneness also
because I was there with my newly made friends and they are uncomfortable
although they are friendly. I also gave the money to such an infertile women
the 10 rupees to every of them.
After having the special
night in the train, I reached at the Dadar Railway Station, it was about 11.00
am. While I was riding in the train, I felt sick in the matter of the water
because it was so hard and bad tested. When we walked along with the bridge
of the station, my train mates Mr. Chabilal phoned my dad to meet me in the Nehru Park.
After that we have the drink and left to Nehru Park
in a taxi. I reached at the Breach Kandi hospital when my dad waited me at the
bus station. After this I met my dad and I saluted him the very much. Then I
was brought me to his room, Laxmi Nivas. I felt so uneasy and uncomfortable in
the room but I managed myself in a minute. After bathing and resting, I had the
dinner and felt asleep and got up early at 8.45 am. Than I salute my God and my
relatives. The second night of my Mumbai Residency, I went to visit places with
my dad and his friends, Radhe Shyam. But there was the heavy rain fall in the
outside of the area, so we went to Sahakari Bhandar to buy umbrellas. Then we
were comfy. After this I visit the streets of the Mumbai with my dad and tasted
the pan (sweet gutkha), where I grabbed the opportunity to with the local and
small businessman i.e. pan seller. After some minutes talking, I was
spiritually appreciated by him. In the early morning of 10th June, I
went to the uncle’s room to stay with him. After having lunch at the uncle’s
room at the Lotus, I went outside to visit. It was my first experience to see
the sea and I felt that I am so lucky. After having the enjoyment near the sea,
I went to uncle’s room at Lotus. It was the completely complicated and the new
experienced to share the room with five others in the Ganesh uncle’s flat. In
the beginning, I had to face a lot of difficulties such as using the bus (bus
number is to be known), cooking and shopping with the Hindi language but I
managed well.
Unfortunately the 11th and
12th June was full of heavy rain and I couldn’t go outside to visit.
But in 13th June, I went outside to find the location and to visit.
Then I found the National Sports Clubs buildings, Race Course, and the
Mahalaxmi side. After reaching Breach Kandi, my dad, I and one of the Vihari
named Naresh who worked with my dad at same room went to Peda Road to buy the mobile set. I bought
the Nokia X200 model and went back to uncle’s flat.
About 9:00 am, 13th June, I went Juhu Beach

restaurant of the Guhu Chowpatty and he work there of carrying guests to
restaurant and left them for the city travel. I took the photo on my new and

the scene of the beach. It was my first experience to touch the salty water of
the sea. I also saw the big unmanned ship named Wisdom had stroke for 15 days.
After visiting 2 hours in Juhu, I went back to the Lotus by catching the Best
bus the number is 28. After this I had the hard dinner at 9:00 pm and I went to
the bed.

about 11:45 am, 14th June, I & Ganesh uncle went to Nehru Planetarium

Hindi show will start at 12:00 pm. Then we enter into planetarium where I took
the photos of the all information. Then I reached in to the show hall. It was
my first experience to see the star, galaxy, sun-family and so on in the big
screen. After the exit from the hall, I entered in to Nehru
Center to see the photos, exhibitions,
paints, cultural things, ancient things, evaluating things of the India
as well as the entire world. After the very memorable time in the Center, I
went to the flat. I had an opportunity to see the eclipse (which came in about
12.40 am) in the foreign land in the 15th and 16th June.
I went to Mahalaxmi temple to pray Laxmi Devi in the 16th June. I
spent all the day by praying the Holy God.

the early morning of the 17th June, I got up and planned to visit
the Nehru Science Center
with uncle. Uncle bought 2 tickets (25 IC per ticket). Then we entered in to
the building where I saw the science materials, animals, innovating things,
researched things etc. After visiting there I went to flat to rest for
sometimes because I was so tired. Hey I recommend you to visit the science
center twice a week with the protection of the sun glasses because we need to
know these things very closely, so that will help for our daily activities and
our life style. In the 18th June I went Hanging Garden
with my friend through the Peda
Road to observe the most beautiful garden in the
history of the Mumbai city. I took photos and played with nature for 2 hours
and went back. In this day I also visit the Kamala
Nehru Park,
Priyadarshini Park
and the Tata Garden. I met my closest friend Mr.
Madhav Paudyal in 19th June. We talked and share the each and every
thing of both of us, and then we went to visit Girigaon Chowpatty
Beach. That the special
day of visits the well known beach with my old friend. I couldn’t go to outside
because the 20th June is the full of rain. This day I rest a lot.
In
21st June, I dad and Tulsi uncle planned to visit the more places.
Then we bought three tickets (25 IC per person) to visit anywhere. One of the
cool thing is that if you bought the ticket, which cost is Rs 25, you could
visit anywhere only by the Best bus in the Mumbai bus. Then we reached to
Balkeshwor through Nepansi Road
to visit my Tulsi uncle. After meeting him, we reached to the Byculla Chidiya
Ghar to observe the fascinating things, beautiful birds, white crow, white
peacock, tigers, lions, beers, leopards, etc. We observed there and went to
Bombay Central and got on the bus to Collaba. We reached Collaba and saw the
Gateway of the India.
That’s my first experience; I’ve ever traveled in the Boat above the sea. I
took photos in there, the Taj Mahal Hotel, Gateway of India, boats, ships, etc.

round sides to sides of the road but we couldn’t find. Ultimately, a local guy
pointed out us the actual way. We visit Wankhade Stadium, on where the World
Cup Cricket 2011 was organized. Then I returned back to room after visiting the
Badganga at 7:00 pm evening.
In
22nd June, I visit Haji Ali Mosque, the pilgrimage of Muslims. I’d
an opportunity to observe the tradition, culture of the different religions.
When I back along the bridge from Haji Ali Mosque, I was being wet by the heavy
tide of the Indian sea, this was so dangerous. In 23rd June, I went
to Prince of Wales Museum. I found the most surprising things in museum that
all Nepalese cultural things and ESP. statues of Buddha and many other in the 2nd
floor of the museum. And I also observe the different coins on there. Then I
went to Aquarium at 5:00 pm in the evening. I saw the different spices of the
fish in the decorated Aquarium. I also visit the Marine Lines. After visiting
there I returned to room Chowpatty

June, I went with uncle to Bombay Central to buy the train ticket. After
meeting all my relatives, friends, I traveled back my home in the 28th
June. I returned Butwal in 30th June.
In
my this short journey, I was able to know more about the Indian people, their
habits, customs, cultures, etc. I felt that there are so many practices of
civilization that need to be adopted in our Nepal for the sustainable
development.
Finally my thanks are due to my dearest mummy, daddy, mama, sister,
brother, my grand father, my grand mother, Chabilal and to those whose efforts
made possible for me to visit the Great India ESP Mumbai.
